Job Description

Our client, living in a small city in Ventura County, northwest of Los Angeles, is looking for a Live-in Nanny for her 2 young children aged 6 & 7. There is also an older sibling who is 17, but this role is primarily focusing on the 2 younger children.

A typical working week will be Monday to Friday, but with the occasional weekend work (depending on the family’s schedule).

The ideal Nanny will be outgoing and fun but most importantly experienced, trustworthy and respectful. It is essential that you know when to step back and allow the family to have their own time.

All typical Nanny duties apply, but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting the children with their daily routine
• Accompanying them to and from school
• Taking them to clubs and activities
• Cooking for the children
• Running errands
• Doing the weekly food shop
• Travelling with the family during school holiday periods

The family do employee a Housekeeper, but you may be required to help out and pick up duties as and when needed, such as laundry for the children.

It is preferred that..

• You have an American, or dual American & British passport as the family cannot provide a working VISA
• Hold a valid driving licence
• Pet friendly
• Prior experience in a dynamic family household

Contract Length : Permanent – Live-in
Location : Ojai, California
Start Date : ASAP 2022

Children : 3 Children: G6, B7 & B17

Working Days : Monday – Friday
Working Hours : to be discussed

Salary : depending on experience
