Top Required Skills:

• Programming in C# and Python
• Image processing algorithm development
• Data retrieval, plotting, and analysis

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong programming skills (C#, Python)
• Knowledge of OOP and software architecture concepts
• Image processing algorithms (blob analysis, edge detection, morphology, feature extraction, classification, metrology)
• Data analysis and presentation skills (MS Office)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering teams
• Strong communication and training capability

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Halcon or OpenCV
• Machine learning/CNN training experience
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and MEE concepts
• Database system experience
• Metrology, inspection, or manufacturing quality experience
• Optical measurement system development (optics, lighting, cameras, laser, 3D measurement)
• Understanding of physical optics

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop software and image processing algorithms to support inspection and production processes
• Collaborate with the Measurements & Controls group to create data manipulation approaches for production and quality feedback
• Transfer early-stage technologies into production-ready applications
• Create and update documentation for production use (applications and procedures)
• Train engineering, maintenance, and operations staff on developed tools and procedures
• Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting using data and performance analysis

Requirements:

• BS degree required; advanced degree preferred in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, EE, ECE, or Optics
• Strong programming experience (C# and Python)
• Understanding of OOP and image processing algorithms
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and present results effectively
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and interact effectively with cross-functional teams
