RN Supervisor – Contract

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hospital Facility)

Pay Rate:

• Local: $77/hour
• Traveler: $3,144.74 weekly gross

Contract Duration:

• Start Date: 02/05/2026
• End Date: 05/07/2026
• Length: 13 weeks (extendable)

Schedule:

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 3 × 11.5-hour shifts (35 hours/week)
• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Requirement: Every weekend and holiday coverage required

Job Summary

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care within the hospital setting. This role involves clinical leadership, staff coordination, and adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant patient care delivery
• Coordinate staffing assignments and patient flow
• Serve as a clinical resource for bedside nurses
• Monitor patient outcomes and address care concerns promptly
• Enforce hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License
• BSN required
• BLS certification (current)
• Previous RN Supervisor or leadership experience Required
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
